PRINCIPLES OF HERMENEUTICS

What are the hermeneutical principles that must be followed if the exegesis and the subsequent interpretation of the Holy Scriptures are to be valid? Without intending to give emphasis to a particular number, fourteen principles will be considered. And it must be stated that the number is arbitrary because the compilation is not exhaustive, nor is the order of great significance.
